About Sag Harbor Kids
The Sag Harbor Youth Committee is the producer of the Sag Harbor Kids website and weekly email. We are a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated volunteers from our community. Our chief purpose is the curation and management of this web site SagHarborKids.org, that allows parents to find contact and calendar information for all the youth oriented places and activities on the East End. In addition to our web site, we provide funding and volunteer support for various children-oriented activities in the Sag Harbor area.
Sag Harbor is a little off the beaten path of the villages of the East End some know as The Hamptons. Signs and logos of whales around town identify its rich nineteenth century heritage as the third largest whaling port in New England. Galleries lining its winding main street signify its current attraction to artists. In summer its population, including day trippers, swells from a village of something over two thousand to well over eight and, for its loyal residents, it is a year-round thriving community with lots to do for kids. Our brochure includes annual events, seasonal activities, recreation, education, amusement and adventure. Dedicated to publicizing, facilitating and planning constructive and enlightening activities to engage, entertain and educate youth in Sag Harbor.
