Program Presenters: Representatives of the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society.
Join Atlantic Marine Conservation Society for an interactive presentation on How to Help Sea Turtles in New York, and learn about how we are promoting conservation of our marine environment—including conservation of four local species of sea turtles. Learn about these threatened and endangered marine animals and the dangers they face during their time in New York’s waters, now through the fall and early winter. A guided beach cleanup will follow, where we will walk the beach removing harmful marine debris, and learn how to monitor the beach and help any sick or injured sea turtles.
