Outdoors

The outdoors is the East End’s greatest draw: ocean beaches, Montauk’s famous lighthouse, a sports and commercial fishing fleet with centuries of traditions. Camping facilities, parks and playing fields allow families to enjoy the scene without the high costs. Calm ponds and bays and a turbulent surf invite canoes and kayaks as well as boogie boards.
